Deacon Blue

Saturday, December 11th

Inverness Leisure Centre

2020 was going to be a big year for Deacon Blue. But COVID put the breaks on their UK tour and their October date in Inverness was postponed.

Thankfully, it looks like the multi-million selling band will make it to the Highland capital this December. They’ll be playing old and new tracks that will delight all who support the Glasgow band.

The event is sold out, but resale tickets are available here for £46 for the December event in Inverness.

Wildwoodz Christmas Market

Wildwoodz Christmas Market

3rd, 4th and 5th December

Wildwoodz

The Wildwoodz Christmas market returns this December for their last event of the year. There will be art, crafts, food, and drink to be bought from local crafters, makers, and artisans.

This will be a perfect place to pick up all your Christmas gifts and to shop locally instead of giving your money to the online and high street beasts that scoop up so much of our money.

Tickets are £2.50 and can be paid on the day.

Don’t Be Left in the Cold – Prebook Your Inverness Taxi Now

It’s Christmas coming up, this period is a very busy one for people socialising right across the country. As the weather gets worse and the desire to celebrate with our nearest and dearest increases, we at Inverness Taxis can only advise people to start making their transportation arrangements now. Once the pubs and clubs are empty of revellers it’s going to be harder than ever to secure transport home in a realistic timeframe. We are estimating that there could be waiting times for taxis of 1 to 2 hours at peak times if you’ve not pre-booked.

The rules have changed this winter. You can still get a taxi and we encourage you to do so especially if it’s late at night, but please book early to ensure you’re not faced with a lengthy wait braving the elements this Christmas period.
