City of Inverness Highland Games

In 2022 more than 7000 people enjoyed the Highland Games in Inverness and this year Scotland’s premier highland games promise to be better than ever!
Since the Inverness Highland Games were founded in 1822 competitors and spectators from far and wide have flocked to Inverness to enjoy these traditional and competitive events alongside the music and culture of the Highlands of Scotland. Look forward to the classic events like Highland dancing, caber tossing, strongest man and women events and piping competitions, as well as stall from local makers and creators showcasing some of the finest crafts and produce from the north of Scotland.
There’ll also be an appearance from World Strongest Man contenders Luke ‘The Highland Oak’ Stoltman and Tom ‘The Albatross’ Stoltman!

Belladrum Tartan Heart is quite simply, the friendliest, wackiest, most inclusive festival in Scotland and it’s back bigger and better than ever!
Around 22,000 people attended last year’s festival full of the best local, national and international performers, stalls, activities and general summer fun available! It’s the family-friendly event in Inverness that you’ve been looking for with plenty to do for kids and adults alike.
This year sees headliners Travis, Bastille, and Sigrid grace the fields of Belladrum over the 3-day festival. But there will also be performances from the likes of Peat & Diesel, and Kiefer Sutherland. Sam Ryder, KT Tunstall, The Zutons and Scouti8ng for Girls to name but a few of the hundreds of performers entertaining the masses over the weekend.
