Job Description

You will deal with all incoming medical correspondence, ensuring that all items are logged and passed to the appropriate team member for action.

The candidate will also process requests for repeat prescriptions and home visits. They will log results, arrange appointments, process patient registrations and handle all patient enquiries. Helping resolve issues with colleagues within the practice and externally within pharmacies and hospitals.

Be required to undertake relief secretarial duties in the absence of the secretary.

Experience in working with the public in a customer focussed role.

Able to work in a busy office environment, be reliable, conscientious and have high attention to detail.

Seasonal Nursery Workers are being sought to join this specialist nursery at Dundreggan, close to the banks of Loch Ness. Fixed-term contracts between March and July.

Some subsidised accommodation is available on site.

The nursery concentrates on the rare or hard-to-grow species that more commercial tree nurseries can’t supply. Trees like local-provenance woolly willow and downy willow. This helps them create new mountain woodlands at Dundreggan, Glen Affric and elsewhere.

Person Specification

Good dexterity or fine manipulation skills.

Reasonable levels of numeracy and literacy.

Able to work extremely thoroughly with excellent attention to detail

Experience in horticultural work, gardening or looking after plants.
