Frankie Boyle: Lap of Shame

Thu 15 – Fri 16 June

Eden Court Theatre

Frankie Boyle should need no introduction. The Scottish standup has been stomping stages up and down the country for the last couple of decades, harassing audience members and shocking crowds with his hilarious, yet dark insights. You’ll know him from TV shows such as ‘Mock the Week’,’8 out of 10 Cats’, ‘Have I Got News For You’, and he’s currently wrestling with Greg Davies on Channel 4’s flagship show ‘Taskmaster’.

With no topic off the table, get ready for this hysterical night and don’t worry, Frankie won’t hold back!

Both dates are a sell-out, but keep an eye on Eden Court’s website for returns and you might get lucky to see this creature of the night in full flow at this Inverness event in June.

Woodzstock Music Festival

Saturday 17th June

WildWoods

Woodzstock is the perfect wee festival in the woods that’s both family-friendly and a great day out for adults too!

The ‘festival in the forest’ has been a regular fixture in the Highlands’ festival calendar for several years now. Local suppliers will provide the festival food and drink, as a host of musical stars entertain the crowd.

Woodzstock is held at Wildwoodz Paintball Park on the Black Isle. Just a 10-minute drive from the Kessock bridge, it’s easily get-at-able.

Its host, Wildwoodz is the home of the ‘Highland’s most exciting day out’. The paintball and adventure park is an ideal location for a music festival. With it its large main field, stage and Wild West Village.

Acts bashing out the tunes at this Inverness event in June this year are:

Utah Saints, Tom McGuire & The Brassholes, McFleetwood, Bad Actress, Pale Moon, The Black Isle Peas, Chancers, Dylan James Tierney, Karawane, Paul John Maciver, Rhoehaisse Clark, Sarah Gallagher, Susanna Wolfe, and Wee James.

Food and drink are available from local providers including a wood-fired pizza oven, and onsite bake stall. While the bar serves Scottish beer, cider and gins.

Ticket numbers are extremely limited so didn’t expect the vast numbers of Belladrum and remember to book early/as soon as you can so you don’t miss out!
