Driver’s duties include:
- Driving passengers to their destinations in a prompt, friendly manner.
- Taking job details from an operator at the office, or more usually from your in-car computer/phone.
- Be booked in advance or wait on an official taxi rank.
- Help to load and unload passengers’ luggage.
- Help passengers to get in and out of the vehicle if needed.
- Take payments, both cash and card.
- Keep the vehicle clean, roadworthy, and adhere to all COVID-19 health and safety measures.
- If self-employed, you should keep accounts and records.

It is essential that you are an excellent communicator with good verbal and written skills. You should have strong IT skills and experience in using MS Office. Candidates should be able to work under pressure. Have good attention to detail. And the ability to work on your own initiative, and be willing, able, and confident to challenge where necessary. You should have previous experience of working in an HR environment.
